Noida-Greater Noida Metro Link Project Begins!!

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has finally started the Noida-Greater Noida Metro link project, its been three months since it inked an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with authorities of the twin cities. This Metro Link will act as a secondary medium for daily commuters of the twin cities. Soon the look of Noida and Greater Noida will change completely and will benefit the commuters with the ease of traveling.

The Rs 5,500-crore route is proposed to have Sector 71 as its starting point, while the last station in Greater Noida will be Bodaki. The Noida-Greater Noida Metro track will have a total number of 22 stations, out of which 12 or 13 will be constructed on ground while other stations 6 or 7 will be elevated.

For the future expansion, two stations at Knowledge Park-I and Sector Delta-1 in Greater Noida are meticulously planned. It will penetrate from Greater Noida through Knowledge Park-II and traverse Pari Chowk, Sector-Alpha 1 and 2, before stopping at Depot Station proposed near Knowledge Park-IV in Greater Noida. The whole Metro alignment is proposed to be elevated.

This will boost the realty sector in Noida & Greater Noida and will gain huge values in terms of investment, because of good infrastructure, good connectivity and various ongoing real estate projects.
